Grampians Regional Wound Groups (RWGs)

The Australian Wound Management Association, Vic branch (formerly WMAV), acknowledges the limitations that being in a regional area can have on education opportunities and professional development. To support educational activities, funding is available to regional networking groups. Upcoming meetings

• The Ballarat Regional Wound Group last met on Wednesday 16th of November at St.John of God Hospital in Ballarat. This was a dynamic meeting with presentations consisting of: Wound care initiatives in Tonga; Wound CNC role at Independence Australia; and wound pain. Please refer  to the meeting report below. • The Wimmera Regional Wound Group last met on Thurs 24th November,  2011 at the State Govt Office Building in Horsham. Visiting vascular surgeon Mr Timothy Wagner presented "Wound Management from a Vascular Perspective". The meeting report will be uploaded to this site shortly.
