Ballarat Paediatric Allied Health Steering Committee

The aim of this website is to provide information on the Ballarat Paediatric Allied Health (BPAH) Steering Committee.

The BPAH Steering Committee was established in August 2009 and has represesentation from health and community service organisations providing allied health services in the City of Ballarat catchment area.  The organisations represented on this committee include: Ballarat Health Services, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, PINARC Support Services, SCOPE, Ballarat Specialist School, Department of Health, Catholic Education Office, Independent Schools, Ballarat Community Health Center and allied health private practice.

The BPAH Steering Committee has developed an implementation plan which includes the following priority areas for member organisations:

  • Improving communication and collaboration
  • Improving referral and intake processes
  • Improving clinical assessment and intervention

Another key activity of the BPAH steering committee is providing a list of service providers and their eligibility criteria.  The list includes contact details of service providers where further information can be obtained.
