Regional Allied Health Works (RAHW)

RAHW is a Victorian Government initiative which aims to build capacity to recruit and retain allied health professionals in rural and regional communities of Victoria.  RAHW program managers are employed across the Department of Health non-metropolitan regions and act in a key liaison role between regional health and community services, allied health professionals and the Department of Health.  For a more detailed overview of the program please visit the Department of Health website.

RAHW in the Grampians region is managed from the Grampians Office of the Department of Health.  Regional stakeholder input into the RAHW program is provided by the Grampians RAHW Advisory Committee.  The primary role of this committee is to provide expert advice and recommend strategies to the Department on allied health recruitment and retention issues in the Grampians region.
