Grampians Regional Emergency and Critical Care
Advisory Committee (RECCAC)
The Regional Emergency and Critical Care Advisory Committee (RECCAC) was formed in February 2005, The Grampians RECCAC is representative of the health services sector and advises the Department of Health on emergency and critical care issues relating to the Grampians Region. This committee supersedes the Regional Consultative Committee on Emergency and Critical Care Services and has a broader stakeholder representation and a stronger advisory role.
The RECCAC is expected to maintain a strong regional focus, actively engage other relevant stakeholders and report to relevant committees including the Intensive Care Advisory Committee, State Trauma Committee and Adult Retrieval Victoria. Members of the RECCAC will be expected to provide expert advice and work collaboratively to develop strategies that will address emergency and critical care issues.
