Health Workforce Education and Training in The Grampians Region
There are many education and training initiatives undertaken by Grampians health services, education providers, and the Victorian Department of Health in the Grampians region. This website is dedicated to listing these initiatives so that Grampians health care workers become more aware of the education and training opportunities in the region.
1. Continuing Nurse Education (CNE)
The CNE grant program is designed to assist health services in the acute health sector to run professional development programs and is a contribution to the cost of the overall nurse education program. For more information on the Victorian Government's CNE grant program click here.
The Grampians CNE "Highway Model" program is conducted by Ballarat Health Services on behalf of Grampians health services. The latest CNE regional timetable can be accessed by clicking here.
2. eLearning
The Grampians Loddon-Mallee eLearning Project is a collaborative venture between the Grampians and Loddon-Mallee regions of Victoria and e3Learning. The Portal provides access to online learning resources for 39 health services across the two regions. Funding for the project has been provided by the Victorian Department of Health.
